Screenwriter Tony Gilroy delivers a finely tuned directorial debut with this dramatic thriller about burned-out corporate lawyer Michael Clayton (George Clooney), a man who’s built his career on cleaning up other people’s messes. When a guilt-ridden colleague (Tom Wilkinson) threatens the settlement of a multimillion-dollar case, Clayton faces his biggest challenge yet. Tilda Swinton nabbed an Oscar for her turn as a conflicted general counsel.

This movie is just great. I just love George Clooney. It starts off a little slow but the end is just amazing. I give this movie a B+/A-. Watched it on BD

It is pretty much the same shit over and over except for a subplot with the warehouse itself and the different artifact. This show sucks.

Felt a little confused about the story of Harry Potter so I am going to rewatch the movie series. Going to be a while so check back later.

Top Gear, they just had their final episodes in their series, USA season. Why do they call it a series? They tried out the Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst, HSV Maloo, and Aston Martin V12 Vantage. Clarkson and May tried their best to put together a Volkswagen Scirocco ad that wasn’t boring. Well May’s was pretty boring and Clarkson had explosions and chicks in bikinis. For their guest, they had Jay Leno. Was pretty sweet. Not a fan of Jay Leno’s work but damn he has a shit ton of cars. He told a story about getting pulled over for speeding with 2 undercover cops. He did ok for his lap on the Top Gear Track. Second fastest American, Mark Wahlberg is first and wearing a hate.

Defying Gravity is an internationally produced space travel television drama series, first aired on August 2, 2009. Set in the year 2052 with flashbacks to five years earlier, the series will follow eight astronauts—four women and four men—from five countries on a six-year space mission through the Solar System, where everything they do is monitored. The show sucks. Any show that does flashbacks on a normal bases is grounds for being retarded. So far, this has been a shitty Summer for new shows. Hung is ok, Warehouse 13 is just for 12 year olds, and now this. Why do they just make shitty shows in the Summer?

Speaking of Lost, it will be their last season next season. No news on when it will be start.

The series revolves around Hank Moody, a charming but horny writer and novelist plagued with personal demons. He blames his years-long case of writer’s block on a variety of reasons, ranging from the hedonism of Los Angeles, to his on-again, off-again relationship with his girlfriend Karen. Hank constantly deals with the fallout of his lack of will to say "no" to drugs, sex and alcohol, while trying to show his family that he can be a good, caring person.

The first season takes place in the months leading up to Karen’s planned marriage to Bill, a Los Angeles publisher. Hank is wallowing deep in self-loathing following the release of A Crazy Little Thing Called Love, what he percieves as a sub-par yet popular movie adaptation to his most recent novel, God Hates Us All. After picking up a younger woman in a bookstore, he finds out she is actually Bill’s 16-year-old daughter, Mia. Hank spends most of his time boozing and not writing. Mia continues to haunt Hank during his visits to his family, using the threat of revealing his statutory rape of her to steal stories for her creative writing class. The death of his father triggers a bender and an eventual sexual encounter with Karen. After the funeral, Hank stays in New York to finish a manuscript for a new novella. However, when Hank returns to LA, the original copy is lost when his car is stolen. But Mia has retained her own copy, and chooses to pass the work off as her own. On Karen and Bill’s wedding day, Hank chooses to accept the way things are. But as he leaves the reception with his daughter Becca, Karen runs out and jumps into the car, riding into a new life together.

Show is sick and funny, another great show that flow under my radar. Check back for more on Californication with season 2.
